Guys,

Where can I buy the centre console parts (so vents, centre piece around stereo, ashtray - gstick area etc) for an 05 blob STi, be it original parts or the rarer darker in colour items? Without being raped by a dealer.

Jap performance parts list everything required for £175 I think but you will find cheaper if you find a private breaker

Probably I did the swap on my 03 wrx but you need the later handbrake as well as you won't be able to fit the surround properly and also the later doorcards smarten it up a lot as well you just have to sort out the mirror switch as is in console on earlier cars and in door on later ones, also you need the stereo brackets but these are cheap from the dealer if you can't find used

If you want new, the black S204 kit is available on import, www.japparts.com, around 300!

And you will get stuffed on vat and carriage once in the UK (parcelforce charge around 10 just for 'handling' it).
