scary job drilling holes in your car but followed this nasioc thread and it worked perfectly.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ghlight=fender
the 05 bumper cost me a bargain £120 of ebay and was newly painted in wr blue.
and the arch extensions cost me £140 new from subarugenuineparts.com. took 2 weeks to arrive from the us but the uk stealers wanted £120 each!!!
and even managed to sell my old bumper for £60 so all in all the project cost me £200
if anyone is going to try this mod dont bother with second hand arches as the clips are nearly impossible to get off the car without breaking the clips and they are also 3m taped on too so are nearly impossible to remove without damage and are stupidly rare second hand.
also they are pre painted new anyway.
before modding my car i usually research fully and did think about bonding the arches on but was told by a few people it lifts due to the shape of the arch so i recommend drilling.
quite easy really, apart from swapping the bumper over took about an hour with a bit of time inbetween to treat the bare metal where i drilled the holes.
now onto my 05 centre console swap! watch this space!!!!!!

p.s. the suspension looks a bit high due to being jacked up with the wheel off while i was drilling it has settled back to normal now
