Default SpecD By RaceDynamix @ Hayes Engineering

Had the SpecD on the rollers at Hayes engineering yesterday for a few tweeks after road mapping a while ago. 344.9Hp and 386ftlb of torque

Another great job from Duncan cheers mate!

Just need to find a good deal on a MD321T turbo or equivelant, maybe some methanol! 400hp would be nice

Very good results! What mods prior to the remap do you have? I achieved 326bhp and 351 lbs.ft torque. I have basic Prodrive backbox which is supposed to be quite free flowing, straight through centre section (which removed the centre resonator), 2nd cat removed (as part of the PPP pack apparently) and standard main cat in downpipe, walbro high flow fuel pump (again as part of PPP) plus Duncan's remap. Do you have a sports cat or decat to achieve the power you did as your's is a nice healthy figure?

Thanks. I've got pretty much the same mods as you, except I have a 2.5" system, and I have the main cat still in my downpipe. Sounds like it is just the cat which is holding me back. Be amazed/very happy if I got another 30-35 lbs.ft torque but who knows. How is your turbo spool up with the sports cat, and do you get noticably better response low down, ie from 2500rpm onward? I'm looking at a possible decat downpipe and further remap to give a good increase in low down response as I feel this is what my car needs. Do you know what your wheel horsepower figure was, and/or any graphs? I'm jealous

Matth WHP was 268.4
Dont know how much difference the sports cat made as had the car remapped before driving too hard after fittment of exhaust.
The turbo comes in hard a lot earlier than before but could be as much the mapping as the exhaust

You're certainly making good early power and torque figures. I make peak torque at 4500 whereas your's appears to be 3500 which is very good. I made 257 whp, which equated to my 326bhp. Transmission losses must be around 21-22%. I've been told a decat or sports cat with custom remap allows the turbo to spool sooner, improve the low down torque and power. I highly recommend Duncan to anyone for a custom remap. I just need to find myself a good decat, and dates to get it all done along with another remap by Duncan.. oh and some money
