Default manifold/headers question

what are the main diffrences of any for fitment between classic and new age for the headers and up-pipe, i keep noticing them coming up on here saying fitment from 93 to say 07 hawk, yet when you go to buy them from a company they state diffrent years for fitment??

can someone clarify this for me once and for all?
as i assume the block etc below has the same fitment, obviously not talking about twinscroll or anything

Physically they fit as Subaru kept the same dimensions for the non-twin scroll.........what they changed was the location of the various sensors.....Lambda / EGT / cat on fire etc.

ones made just for a classic dont have the boss for the lambda in the headers
if there for your bug just make sure the ones you buy do have the boss unless your good with a welder

Just don't buy cheap from ebay, buy Harvey one's or GT Spec...
But unless you are go higher BHP,you are don't need headers
