Default Misfire / No DTC / TGV fault codes on motorway

Hi,

driving home today after work and whilst on the motorway, with me flooring the pedal the car started to 'stutter'. Luckily I had the laptop to hand as I was going to do some logging when I got home so I fired it up and connected it and I got:

P0303 MISFIRE CYLINDER 3
P0000 PASS CODE (NO DTC DETECTED)
P1088 TGV POS. 1 CIRCUIT LOW

Had a quick convo with my Scooby specialist and he thinks its a dodgy coilpack causing the misfire - what about the other two errors?

I'm having Graham help me with some tuning etc and wondered if I should put some new plugs in? Don't suppose this would cause any problems if they've not been changed after a rebuild et?

cheers
