for sure do the decat, just dont run it on boost till its mapped, i doubt the induction kit is needed, not till you go for big power, the air conduit is 1 of the things subaru got right on the newages

1. Don't fit 19"s unless you need to clear a big brake kit, BUT I love mine...
2. Buy wheels that DO clear Brembos as better brakes are a must if you mess with the car.
3. Don't expect anything but noise from an induction kit, most will tel you to map it for safety... engines aren't cheap even 2nd hand.
4. Map it !

buckled wheel city on our roads. 19" will require 30 or 35 series rubber depending on tyre width. you'll destoy the handling. yes it might look good but i dont want to drive around at 30 mph everywhere.

Don't put 19" wheels on any newage car, it will completely ruin the car's handling.

Forgot to say an induction kit will do nothing for your car other than make it noisier. A hi-flow panel filter in the original airbox.

I have driven a new hatch with 19s. the tyres were not toyo, michelin i think. the car also had AST suspension as well. i didn't like the ride. my spine nearly crumbled into dust.

^^^^^yes you will need a remap. better spool, different afr readings, more fuel, more air, more ignition advance. all needs to be taken into consideration if you dont want an expensive repair. having said that you should free a few more ponies which is always nice

Shakes head and walks away...

The ride is fine, the handling is so far off the OEM chart, it's in another county...

dunx

P.S. Not that it's a cheap option...

What ! An Open Source mapper will do it for £350 approx. Ecutek a bit more...

dunx

P.S. You won't get the full power from any mod without mapping to suit ! Plan ahead.

My newage 02 came with 19s on when i baught it.
I am now looking for set of 17/18 for it as 19 not good for everyday back roads.
Keeping 19s and getting them refurbed only good for shows meets really.

Dont put 19s on they look good but not to be used everyday from what i have experienced already.
