Default Anybody here work for Apple

Just looking for some advice from someone in the know.

I have an iPhone 4, had it jailbroken so I can run Cydia etc. But now the phone as picked up a fault with the speakers.
I need to take it into Apple shop for repair or replace but I have heard they won't do anything if your phone is jail broken. So, I restored the phone back to original settings.
Can Apple still detect that the phone as been messed with when they plug it in to their little diagnostic machine thing.

After the phones been restored apple can longer detect the jail break, recently took mine back after the screen packed up, no problems or questions asked.

When you flash it,back to the Apple OS you are actually burning the information onto the bios , so you have better chance to land on the moon using a pogo stick.

it may not be illegal, but if apple knew you had done it, it would no doubt invalidate the warrantee...

I had a problem with the reception, re-stored the phone, took it back and they replaced it!
