newbie with bhp questions

Default newbie with bhp questions

hi,
looking to make some slight improvements to my ver6 classic sti. on the list is decat downpipe, cobrat 3"resonated centre section, fuel pump, panel filter and BRD remap. what bhp and torque figures will i be expected to acheive?

Can't quite remember what Turbo your car has but that will be the limiting factor. I'm guessing at 320/300

ok thank you for the prompt reply, no advantage to add a cold feed induction kit then?

Stick with the standard airbox *** the maf sensor is pretty crap on the 99/00 cars

does sticking the mass airflow sensor up your *** make the car go faster?

If you are only aiming to max your current turbo then i'm sure i won't matter. If you have long term aspirations of bigger power then it may affect the answwer to that question. I personally don't know the answer but someone in the know will be along

Bellmouth is the better choice if buying new
