In all honesty it may be easier just to get a second hand hub with everything attached and just swap them? Never had to do it myself though.

They are usually just splined press-fit into the hub face.... if you have a big hammer they'll come out, but with the hub off you can obviously press them out and not 4uck your wheel bearing.

I easily did all 10 of my front ones when fitting AP's to my UK300. The standard studs aren't long enough. As above either press them out or tap out gently. The hub needs rotating to a certain position to enable the stud to be withdrawn from the rear.

Default Hi

I had to change the rear ones on my WR1, I did not have to take the hub appart, just the disc off, its a bit tight but can be done on the rear. not sure about the front, but I shouldn't think you will have to take the wheel bearing apart, to remove them, to remove they just knock out, screw an old wheel nut on then tap with a hammer, try a srap yard, mine came off a sport model older impreza but were the same. and ive heard they are the same as nissan studs so maybe you could get them off an old micra or something not sure about that though

Done a rear one on mine, you can get a new stud from any Subaru dealers with a parts dept, cant remember exactly how much but I'm sure it was under a fiver.

Depends on whether you car has abs or not. Some subarus with abs can be hammered out too as the abs ring is on driveshaft most however have ring bolted in place behind wheel studs. HTH

Im not sure about classics, but on my blobeye spec c the abs ring is behind the studs, and needs to be moved over slighty, once you undo the bolts it can be moved to one side and this will give you just enough room to knock the old stud out.

i did one on my classic a while back and im sure i had to pop the bearing out, be careful whacking, the abs rings are fragile and near £140 from subaru. id go for a second hand hub and pop a new bearing in it. 25 for hub, 40 for bearing.
