I've got launch control setup alongside anti lag on my motec m48 pro. Can honestly say I've never used either. Pretty pointless on a road car in my opinion. If your thinking of dragging your car then could be handy, but used often will start breaking things.

I've always though the flat foot shifting I can patch for the DBW cars was pretty useless until I tried it myself on my Dad's spec D the other day after I'd mapped it.

One word, EPIC! Loved it. Always though it was a little naf when patched for customers, but I now know the technique to drive with it and it is so much faster than manually shifting. Plus the boost drop is very minimal.

It Is good fun although a bit apprehensive at doing it at first!

oh yes ive had it done on my hawkeye wrx on the standard ecu and its superb but doing it to much can cause the front diff to start going like mine has so 6spd set up on its way lol.

im sure u can also get high and low boost maps on 01-05 newages as well

Better make sure you have a 6 speed box. Launch control and full throttle shifts for drag racing will calve a 5 speed in short order if you have any sort of decent power.

My 05 sti blob has launch control through the ecu-tek remap, seems to work quite well, can get the four wheels smoking from a standstill

My old RA 450 bhp

i did 0-60ft 1.58 without and 1.7 with

My Newage STi 500bhp

1.65 without and 1.78 was my best with

One setting is not good enough if you need to try different revs to see what gets you off the line the cleanest
