Dead bird on intercooler
Found one today. Obviously got in via the scoop.
First time its happened in 4 years of ownership, standard scoop, UK MY00. So not some huge device where it could scoop up a small child.
Anyone else had this happen to them?

Didn't take a pic. Was just showing a mate my HID setup, lifted the bonnet and didn't even notice it myself. He pointed it out.
I do feel a bit bad, as I'm not one of those people that would usually go out of my way to run something over. Poor little thing.
On the plus side, car seems to run a bit better in this weather.

Hi
No birds, but we once had a customers Fiat Punto come into our workshop and when we opened the bonnet there was a dead rat behind the engine, wedged onto the exhaust manifold!!
Straws were drawn amongst the mechanics to decide whos job it was to remove it!!

I work at a toyota dealership....had plenty of roadkill from badgers to cats found in odd places around the engine bay!
Best one was when another tech took the air filter out and found a live mouse sitting in the bottom of the airbox....which then ran up the air feed pipe and out the other side lol.
