Default Coilovers

Hi all

New member here looking for a little advice.

I have a '95 Legacy GT and have been after some coilovers for it for ages, but they seem very hard to come by.

I've been informed that impreza coilovers may fit. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi,

I'm guessing that's the twin turbo series 3? Are you registered on www.uklegacy.com?

You've got a gen2 Legacy - Front coilovers from a classic shape Impreza will bolt straight in, but the stud pattern on the rar top mounts is slightly different, so you'll either have to use the standard rear Legacy top mounts or source some new Legacy pillowball ones.

Your right it's a gen2 (bg5). Will the standard rear top mounts work with any coilovers or will I need specific ones? Any idea on where I'll be able to find some suitable pillowball ones?

It'll probably depend on what coilovers you go for to be honest.

You can always 'pikey' it and simply elongate one of the mounting holes on each side of the car, then you can use the Impreza top mount. That's upto you though...

Haha, that sounds like something I would do. Which normally means that it's a bad idea.
