just checked vin plate codes gc8ek8d says its a catalunya any way to tell?

 

Simplest way to tell is to ensure it is a 1997 UK car and black in colour. The only black classics ever supplied in the UK were Catalunyas.

If you used the "catherine and ken" website to check the vin plate then it may be wrong as that site does have a few errors.........

As above.......it's a black car with a red fleck
