just took the pistons out and split the block of my ej20. its a pre 96 open deck.
it has oil squirters. i thought these were on closed deck block only???

cylinder 4 needs a rebore. shame as pistons are fine.

what is the value of a block in this condition with oil squirters???

and before anyone sticks their beak in this is not a ploy to sell it on here!

Have seen a few ODB with bore squirters - seem to be transition period from CDB to ODB but yes not many around.




Not worth a great deal if the block needs boring but if you re-use the block, make sure you test the bore squirters to make sure the check valve in the squirters opens approx. 60 psi.
