MY01/02 Interior problems?

Last weekend the rubber mount that sits around the handbrake lever in my UK300 (not the sleeve, the oval bit inside) snapped and wedged inside the handbrake housing, making the handbrake stop halfway (ie not on). Anyone else had this problem or is it just me?
