My garage had done the decent thing and lowered the price by 1p etc.....the annoying thing is the pump.

I'm one of those people that only seem to stick £30 in at a time or sometimes £20. Now no matter how hard I try, and I've tried many times, the price always comes in at £30.01p or £20.01p and it's impossible to get it bang on even though I can go up 1p at a time leading up to it.

I'm sure they rig it

 

My local shell pump seems to be really easy to get it bang on....

 

around here it nearly always go to £20.07p the pump is like all or nothing

 

My local shell has a saucer of pennies that you can help yourself to if you accidently go over

 

I started putting in £19.99 etc so they have to give me a 1p apparantly it costs them loads for banking to do that.

 

I'm never bothered by it as I pay by card but I'm still sure they're rigging it.

Ha! it's because the fastest thing known to man is now the little penny dial on a V-Power pump, it changes in a blur! If it was still mechanical, as they used to be, it wouould burn up, it goes so fast!

No way can most human beings stop it even NEAR the required mark!
