Jealously it would appear takes many forms, including posting pointless replys to informed posts, meant for people with an interest in performance cars generally.
As this gentlemen has no knowledge whatsoever of this vehicle or its history I will assume that the big part of his title does not refer to IQ.
Facts can be obtained from BCA.

Steady on Y2 I think lee has a point.
Surely if this car is new it will have to pass the new emission regs and crash test etc. I presume to be called new it must be a new shell, not one from, say'86 so how were the panels/shell pressed, it's not the sort of thing you can build in a shed of a sunday afternoon.
Don't get me wrong, after all I don't know the details of the car either, it might well be new but I would be tempted to say it's just unregistered.

Well, well Y2K ****, I`ve had RS cars for the past 8 years, shown a couple of them at concours shows around the country & did quite well. So as for being uninformed about these things I think not.A simple reply to my message explaining the situation with this car would have sufficed rather than an uniformed dig or was I a bit close to the truth & you didn`t like it? As for the jealous bit I don`t think so, My R reg Impreza Turbo is bought & paid for & so is my large motorcycle so why would I be jealous about buying a 3 Door cossie?

I forgot to mention the jealousy bit in my post, how can you be jealous of someone selling a car?
Anyway I've just been looking on the RS board and there is a link about the car in question it reads " new, unregistered 3 dr cosworth". I rest my case! It's in the general forum under "read this ".

I am not to sure why this post has attracted such negative comments.
It was originally placed to make like minded enthusiasts of performance cars aware of a unique opportunity to own a nice vehicle for a fair price.
I did not expect any replies to the post, I placed the telephone number so that any questions could be answered by the auctioneers, as I do not live on the internet, and would not be able to respond quickly to any questions.
I am quite sure that any genuine people have contacted the auction house to find out more.
Those with an axe to grind for some reason have sought to waste their time by posting uninformed comments, when by phoning the number provided will have had all their questions answered ( even though quite obviously, regardless of any anwers to their questions, they do not wish to purchase the vehicle anyway). Its a funny old world !
ps... I will remove this post prior to the auction in order to close down this pointless debate.
