Question Creating the ultimate road-spec Impreza?

So, you've won the Euromillions on Friday - what would be the ultimate spec for a road going e.g. usable every day, Scooby and how would it read? Would it be a classic, new age, hatch or what? engine size/spec, suspension, gearbox etc.

Just throw an open cheque at RCMS would be one idea I guess!

Twin scroll, 400bhp/400lbs torque and handling upgrades, really thats all you need for a daily driver oh and I think Litchfield do this

The "ultimate" is rather subjective, but my current remit is to simply create a very nice road car. See my current project thread, using a JDM Hawkeye.

My Spec C after it's engine has been rebuilt, run in, mapped by Bob Rawle and then later on a Litchfield LM / Scoobyclinic twin scroll turbo (exact type tba) and a Syvecs ECU installed / mapped by Bob.

Should make for a really good road car.

Not with them bucket seats it won't be the ultimate road car. Comfort is important for road car guise.

Re-read the title "Road Spec".... not "Race" or "Rally" spec.

I like what I have now: UK98 car, 2.5 conversion rebuilt at Harvey's, around 400/400, makes for an easy drive when you want, and a flying machine whern you feel like it.

The bucket seats in the S204 are similar to those in an F430 I find them very confortable other than the fact that my back is to big for them

So how about the exterior then? Subtle standard paint job and wheels or more over the top but not Max Power with Lambo doors and all that? I'd have to have Advan wheels for sure and have often wondered what a Gulf 917/GT40 paint job would look like on a scoob :-)

Maybe a tamed tarmac spec WRC car could be made into a daily driver?

No you the body of a small Japanese child in order to fit in the S204 seats, I've seen the said car and seats and laughed when I was invited to sit in them.

I would have got in but needed the Fire Service in order to get me out again.

I think I have one of the ultimate road-spec Impreza full RCM treatment with the input on reliability and road driving. As many people have said ultimate is going to be very different from person to person. Its does however tick all my boxes (few more tweaks to come) 460-460.

2.5 forged engine with the right supporting upgrades and a decent turbo 450/450. Lovely to drive, power everywhere, very responsive, very quick without needed to spend sums of money that mean you could buy a prestige car with similar performance.

All you need from a rice rocket really, IMHO
But I'm biased!

PS The car MUST be white!

That sounds like Bob Rawle's Hawkeye but his isn't white?

Bob's car probably be the ultimate road Impreza once he's upgraded the turbo.
