Newbie, come over from the dark side
Hi, Ive just bought my fisrt Imprerza after owning skylines for the last 7 years.
Decided i ahould at least try one rather than just being an enemy of one. lol
Well ive bought a 52 plate blob eye Wrx sti with the prodrive package. I think ive started the best way as i need to rebuild it due to a knock from either the crank or big end. Its covered alot of miles but has a massive service history so has been looked after.
But with this being my first Impreza i havent got a clue about specs and whats in the prodrive pack, so far ive found a full Pd exhaust and sports cat but thats it!
Probably going to need advise on the engine rebuild to as i want a reliable 400bhp and decent torque so need to know what to keep and what to ditch.
Cheers Dan

I think all you have missed from the PPP is that it also has an re-mapped ECU aswell As far as im aware thats all that is included in the PPP.
PPP includes;
de-cated centre pipe
prodrive back box
prodrive exhaust tip
Re-mapped ECU
Hope that helps a bit
Someone with more knowledge will give you advice on the rebuild im sure.

Well on my 05 Blobeye it takes it from around 265bhp and puts it at around 310bhp as standard. Its a Prodrive remap so if its been properly mapped the ECU would of gone to prodrive to be mapped as they are the only people that can do so.

all the ecu's from prodrive are the same map , all done from one map
if your wanting the best fromyour ecu your best getting it ecutek'd
if yiur looking for 400bhp your going to have to get it mapped any way or go after market if you want anti lag / launch con etc
