I thought, being as I fill up with Optimax 9 times out of 10, I should apply for a Shell loyalty card - I do approx 25K miles per annum so I thought I'd be getting enough airmiles to take Mrs Faz to Paris in no time at all.

Got the card through last week and I reckon that I'll have to do 100K miles to get a pleasure flight at Blackpool. Is this the worst loyalty card out there? Does anyone else bother with it? Come on Shell, the Subaru community ,must do more to promote Optimax than your entire advertising budget, give us a proper loyalty scheme.

I've done 100k miles on Shell (collected points on the previous scheme then transferred them to the new one). Got 40 quid's worth of vouchers out of them

Yep, its a bit dire.
But they do have a funny statement system, which seems to be a month out. I reckon Id get eneough airmiles to take the family to Alton Towers for free (£80) in a year.
And as Im buying the petrol anyway!

Unhappy

I just got a Shell card too and I was a bit disappointed with the money per mile - I wonder if it is so you are tempted to get their credit card to boost your points
