Default 2006 sti foglight cover on a wrx

I want to get a set if STi foglight covers for my 2006 WRX.

Anyone able to recommend a company that sells them Pre-painted?

Also, how hard are they to fit? Do they clip over or do the foglights need removing?

i couldn't get them anywhere but subaru. think they were about £60-£70 each.

They're dead simple to fit, get a small electrical screwdriver (put some sparky tape around the end). at the bottom of the cover there is a small rectangle recess. put the screwdriver in there and gently put pressure on to remove cover.

you can remove the fog lights or just put the cover over them

Personally, I reckon too good to be true. The images are computer generated not real photographs of the products. I know things are cheaper over there but are they really that cheap

best of luck if you get them

A word or warning if you put the covers over the fogs, I did this to mine and knocked the front fogs on one day with the STI covers in place and the heat started to melt them, luckily I caught it in time and from then on put some silver reflective tape on the back of the covers just in case.

I used to run the covers in the summer and fogs in the winter when I was more likly to use them.

I almost had a heart attack when Subaru quoted me. U try getting second hand ones - they're like rocking horse ****. People like hta and abw don't do their own versions yet.

Total different kettle of fish compared to blob and bug.

These are £160 from Litchfields

I have an 06 STi and I am looking at replacing mine with the WRX covers, If yours are blue do you want to sell yours? (I want to keep my covers for spares)

YHPM > would prefer a blue one, only need the drivers side one for induction kit so the lights are not needed.
