Default Never been rallyed or raced.

Why do people put never been rallyed or raced when selling a high powered highly modified subaru?

I'm lookinng to buy another Scooby in the near future and I know how I drove my last one and although I never went past 6k on the revs I would never say I 'never' raced it.

It's made to be raced surly.

Another thing that really bugs me is the changed oil every 3000 - yet no receipts. I currently have a £300 car but have evvery receipt the car has costed me.

Grrrrrr.

Id always word it differently, I would say driven hard like it was built for but always serviced and maintained 100%. Always allowed to cool down before switch off etc, actually show you know what the car needs. At least its more believable.

As for oil changes but no reciept, most enthuisiasts do their own oil changes hence no garage reciept. Unfortunatly thats unavoidable

above has hit the nail on the head, my service history just had folders of reciepts for parts, no labour reciepts, but i hope the reciepts will be enough proof as i woul'dnt just buy lol

i usually treat everyone im buying off (or selling too) the same, with complete and utter distrust, you just have to do it respectfully! so in my view proof or it didn't happen, no matter what elaborate story is concocted.

most people are genuine, but a fair percentage will try to take you for a ride, and sometimes it's too late when you find out.

Jauto I know what your saying but hell, I even have the tesco receipt for the oil i put in the carisma. Every tiny bill I keep. even for a £300 car.

I will always buy from here and from a well known poster - not just a fly buyer. Sorry but thats me.
