Rally fans have been asked to stay away from the rally Catalonia due to foot and mouth, this was aimed mainly at the fans from the UK and France for fear of spreading the disease (Has anyone heard off Rum???) throughout Europe. The first stage has been closed to public access due to it being on farm land and apparently the Spanish farmers are no happy the rally is going ahead. My thought are if the fans should stay away surely the teams from the countries and press should stay away as they are just as likely to carry the disease as we are.
