Default How to Stop the wind whistle ?

Anyone else have the annoying problem of the wind whistling thru the window glass at high speed, well, not high speed but 70+ on a classic, tho i guess all models.

I have replaced the door rubbers with 2 sets of 2nd hand ones, didnt cost much hence the try,but still the wind noise is there, surely all 3 sets cant be worn ?

its almost as if the glass isnt being pulled onto the rubber as tight as it should, darling

i have adjusted the glass steady thingy when you remove the door panel, but this only stops the glass from wobbling, not pulling onto the door rubbers

so,is it just a nice trait after all these yrs i have to live with ?

Hmm,maybe its the age, just seems like a mm or 2 would sort it,if the glass had more of a pull on it when the door was shut

Mine does it as well,if i drop the window a touch then do it back up it goes? i was thinking about putting a little foam between the 2 layers to pack it out a little but have never got round to it.

If I put my windows up with the door shut I get a lot of wind noise, but if I put the window up with the door open its fine. It must push the rubber up and not seal correctly.

cheers guys,at least im not alone/my car is fubard LOL and yeah, mine is a JDM classic,so sob

might try the foam or some silicone on the rubber, let it set a bit, shut the door to mold round the lip of the glass etc then open door to allow silicone to fully dry
