Newbie scoob owner here!
Hi all
After a few weeks of looking about and mulling over a few different cars. I have bitten the bullet and recently acquired a very tidy unmodified 2003 blue bugeye sti. So thought I would come say hello!
I had never driven one before....the test drive got me hooked! I loved the way its happy just to plod sedately about at low revs but when its time for a bit of fun and revs build up - totally different animal! (its my first turbo-ed car. Am finding it pretty addictive!)
After a couple of weeks of ownership I'm pretty pleased....even the fuel economy isn't quite as appalling as I thought. (well as long as I'm well behaved!! )

Thanks guys. Will add some pics to my profile at some point.
Its mica blue with gold wheels so not too subtle
As for plans...not sure at the moment, its a far more powerful car than I've ever owned in the past so not really yearning any power gains (at the moment!!) as it certainly already has plenty to keep me happy....also I'm not exactly blessed with mechanical know-how!
It came with a wrx spoiler rather than the sti wing, which I am in 2 minds about as do think it looks better with the wing (although obviously a bit more "out there") so possibly a spoiler change will be on the cards at some point, undecided yet though. Will more than likely also look at getting a better stereo to replace the standard one which is a bit pants.
Only other thing that I could see myself changing in the short term would be the exhaust, possibly to something which emphasizes the engine sound just a little bit more (don't want a melon cannon which can be heard from miles around though!). Anyone have a suggestion there for a nice sensible upgrade to look into?
