Racing Fuel
My work colleague mentioned racing fuel for cars in a conversation, so I googled it and found that if I am prepared to pay £175, I can obtain just over 200 litres of racing fuel, which is 99.95% pure methanol.
I know I would have to have my car mapped for it, its already mapped for V-Power but I imagine racing fuel is higher than V-Power, something like 110 octane?
How feasible is it to run this stuff on a car if its mapped, it works out £0.85p a litre which is a LOT cheaper than V-Power and with the continued price hikes in fuel, maybe a viable option to switch to?
