Default scoobynet is to expensive

i joined scoobynet about a year ago after looking for an impreza for ages.
i originally wanted a wrx but after reading a lot of threads and being over 30 with a clean licence and full no claims decided the extra bit of cash was worth it for an sti.
i brought one with full history had it profesionally checked and was the spec i wanted i.e ppp 18 inch pf7s and wr blue.(not what your thinking no problems with it whatsoever)
i had NO intention to modify it but i looked at a few pictures on here and decided the gold wheels looked better in gunmetal grey so had them powder coated that colour and it looks great.
then read a thread about detangoing and i thought that looks easy so i did that.then exhaust, air filter, remap, double din stereo change,3 guage pod, front splitter, zunsport grill,
and now im considering a new turbo for a bit more power!

where is this going to end and how much more is scooby net going to cost me?????????

but the real point of the thread is im just going to become a full member shortly as i feel it has been a great source of help and advice so was wondering where the money goes that im paying to join with?
hopefully in continuing to keep scooby net going and helping new members part with their cash!!

Tell me about it. im putting my subaru up for sale soon and all ready have a big shopping list for the next one thanks to ScoobyNet and other forums im on.

Once you get the modding bug its hard to get rid of it and as you say with some of the lovely imprezas on here and Group Buys its easy to get carried away.

Similar story but..... Before joining I though a blitz air filter, hks dump valve and a Japspeed exhaust were the best things you could buy for an impreza. Nearly spent £280 on the hks bov alone. If I had I'd prob have a blown
Maf and engine by now.

However, a Hayward and Scott exhaust cost me an arm and a leg compared to the Japspeed. But at least the car's still running and running very well

If you don't want to spend way too much money on a car, stay well clear of Imprezas and Evos....we all need our heads examined!!

Since joining Scoobynet my car keeps breaking and I end up trolling the for sale ads for parts
