Gutted car blew up on the way to the remap : (
Spent loads of money n 2 days solid gettin it ready n it went bang
Big thanks to rich at fb tuning for his time tho n helpin me get it back and pete

Gutted for you as well mate,could have been worse,it could of gone bang during/after it had been mapped.

Yea was only guna try for 340bhp lol but the engine jus died n now wont start tho , sounds like no compresion or sumit , dnt even try n fire now
Tempted to break it n start again now : )

I'm really gutted for you mate, what happened? Did you get oil light? Drop any oil etc?

No lights come on , was all good on the lap top , jus went to turn around n it jus died no warning wat so eva

Hks induction
440 injectors
Exedy pink clutch
Walbro fuel pump
Front mount
Tdo5 turbo
Map sensor
Full decat system
This list goes on lol n i cant even drive it lol

try and keep your chin up mate, i speak to loads of owners who have been through what your going through,,

sounds like your doing everything right just having bad luck,

chuck an engine in it and youll be back on the way to the mappers within a few days

Yep - i wouldn't buy a new one in your position as you maybe buying sommat which might just go down the same road. Have yaself a forged engine built for piece of mind

All this talk of a new engine etc,etc However, the guy doesn't know what the problem is!
One thing you didn't put in was a new cambelt? You say it seems to have no compression - just a thought?

He hasn't said how far from where he built it to getting it mapped, nor how he was driving when it went?

If it were head gasket gone wud it still fire up , n wud it feel like its not boostin wen it was running , as it ova heated at first but turnt it straight off n cooled it down n re bled the rad ?????

Bar of boost, there about's, on a 7 mile old engine? Or had you done 7 miles since bolting the turbo on, swapping injectors etc?

Had the same thing on my vr6 gol turbo. The cam sprocket broke of and smashed a load of valves, no compression and wouldnt fire. worth looking into as someone mentioned about the cam belt?

Put a hole in one of my valves at the end of a mapping session. **** happens, but what doesn't break you, makes you stronger. Find out what's wrong then sit down with a cuppa and decide what to do.

id go through the norm.

first check the timing, all cams & crank sprocket
then check the crank sensor/cam sensor
then the fueling, is fuel getting to the pots.
then are you getting a spark

if all the aboth is fine, check the maf
