Right have decided to mount my AVCR on the top of my dash where the dash cubby hole is, currently making a template then either fibre glassing or getting one vacum formed not sure yet but here it is in stage 1 with the hole cut for the unit.
Problem is it seems very bulky needs trimming down and playing with lots but this is a working progress, the back seems to chunky ideas please.
Not sure what to do with the back but template 1 almost finished.

could you not make a bracket to screw the unit to the cubby lid? like a metal plate under the cubby lid to the screw the apexi unit onto?
keeping all wiring inside the cubby hole??
think it would give a cleaner less bulky look, but must hide all wiring
