Hi all , I'm looking to buy an sti spoiler in wr blue for my blobeye so I can return it too how nature intended it too look . I want a genuine one but I'm not willing to pay for a new one from Subaru .

Which breakers can you guys recommend and if I do find one what markings are on them so I know its genuine ?

Try Grade A.

Don't bother about markings, the copies have them too.

 

There are some in the for sale section. I'm pretty sure one was WR Blue aswell!

Try Bucks Subaru Centre.

I have used Grade A in the past, way over priced and bits tend to be a bit tatty for what you have paid for.
They wont tell you what condition the parts are in apart from its a used part.

 

So is there a definate way of telling between a genuine and copy apart from the fit too the car , I just don't want too have the wool pulled over my eyes .

What spoiler do you have at the moment?

 

Not really, even fit can't be definite.

Try sniffing inside the spoiler through holes, the copies may smell of f/glass or PU, the genuine ones don't.

 

Not sure to be honest , its not quite as big as the sti one and has a high level break light .
