Better and maybe cheaper doing it yourself? My wrx is running about 330bhp and it's cost about £1000 buying things second hand. But PPP will help if you want to sell the car later on I think.

Did you get your geometry done?

As stated above, self help and a remap will cost you a lot less.

Best will be if you are go for Cobra exhaust with Sport cat downpipe, remap from Duncan or other mappers(Rich@FB Tuning,Neil@Slowboy Racing) and you will have this for less money.

+1 Jura. That's the route I went. Cobra exhaust, K&N panel filter and remapped by Duncan.

All in all that cost me about £650. Plus you will probably see more power than withthw prodrive aswel.

Prodrive pack is very hit and miss.My car car fitted with it was nice and responsive, drove really well. The second one felt lethargic and never pulled like the first one. Properly sorted it with a 3" Milltek decat system, Walbro fuel pump and a remap. The latter gave far more grunt than the PPP

I'm in the process of doing my 05 STI, although i'm going to see what can be achieved with just a remap, panel filter, walbro pump, 2nd decat pipe and leave the standard down pipe in. probably been done before but i am interested to see the differences.

If its no good then i will be getting a sports cat down pipe and another remap.

The downpipe has the most restrictive cat, decatting or sport cat will give the biggest benefit for when you remap. Who have you got in mind for the work?

JGM is probably going to be getting my money spoken to him this morning about my plans, he was very helpfull.

A sports cat is on the cards but i'm interested to see what i will gain on the standard downpipe first. I don't want massive power just yet.

I also recommend Duncan racedynamix. He has mapped mine twice and he is happy to take the time to explain things that he is doing!

There are a few highly rated mappers on here and most of them travel. Duncan does open source mapping and is about half the price of ecutek!!
