Default I need to get the horn....:norty:

So, some tw@t cut me up today and as I went to inform him of his indiscretion...
I engaged the subaru audio avoidance device and beeped my horn...

what a girly sound...a feeble fart among the day to day traffic noise.

Has anyone modded their horn for more decibels ?
Air horn?
I've heard of people using truck air horns ( very loud ) Now that'd suit me.

Open for any idea's

Cheers
Taffy

OK, remove grille and find the wiring that feeds it. Use a simple circuit tester or multimeter to see if you have a live wire there when the horn button is pressed, (ign on remember). Let us know the outcome and we'll go from there.
You HAVE checked fuses, I assume?

lol, there's nothing wrong with that horn

I can't see any blown fuses, but as it's an import it's japanese so I'm not sure which is for the horn. Is there also a relay for the horn or just a fuse? any idea which one?
