INVITE TO ALL SCOOBY OWNERS
hi all some of you may remember last year i invited people from the scooby community to the meltham gala which i am heavily involved in organising, well its that time of year again so heres your invite! heres what its all about-
the meltham (huddersfield west yorkshire) gala is a big fun day for both adults and children and has been running in meltham for near on 20 years it has tons of things to do including a fairground,donkey rides,its a knockout assault course for adults and children and lots of games,entertainment,competitions to take part in. we have a dj playing music and making the annoncements all day ,the army attend as do the yorkshire air ambulance and more importantly there is a bar and food/ice cream etc on site. and too much more to list here.
so why is it so important that i invite you lot on here you may ask? well the answer is as part of my involvement i thought it would be a great opportunity for car enthusiasts to display ther cars on site as part of the gala which as we all know scoobys are massive attention drawers and you would meet people from scoobynet who share our interest. last year i managed to get the vw owners club and numerouse classic car clubs to attend,the david brown classic tractor club and 2 new york city police cars! i was quite let down by a lot of people on scoobynet who confirmed they were coming and then did not show so it would be great if we could have a good turnout from the scooby scene this year!!!
the date is sunday 5th june 2011 the post code to help you find it (for those not familiar with the area) is HD9 5QT it is on the recreation ground at mean lane meltham near the morrisons supermarket so easy to find! early invite i know but it gives you all chance to put it in your diary and plan for the day! message me if you can make it on here or contact me on 07597397548 please note we can display your cars in a secure roped off area for those worried about scratches or kids near your cars and you are obviously free to leave with your car at anytime you see fit. those who did attend last year had a great time and hope to see you all again on the day. cheers for reading,zippy
