I would'nt goto kwik fit even if i just wanted a p1ss and was driving past mate. Get them from Godspeed and fit them yourself. Pads are a 10 min job mate.

As above stay well away
Very easy to DIY just make sure you use some Copper grease on the back of the pads to stop squealing.

Ian Godney will see you right with brakes. Avoid Kwik Fit at all costs....

It could be cheapo rear pads.....but.....if they never got copper grease it'll more than likely be that....i try to get the grease in the area the pad touches the calipers.....on the sides of the pads i you can picture it, as the pad slides into the caliper housing...clean that area with a flat screwdriver also....the build up of brake dust can be huge there!

I assure you once the wheels are off the pads will be in your hand inside 5 mins......what will scare you is just how little holds your brakes in place....upto you of course mate, but a great little job for the home enthusiast to save a few ££'s...
