My AP organic originally fitted by RCMS (along with their lightweight alloy flywheel) to cope with the expected 400 / 400 from the last visit did pretty well.

I replaced it with the same clutch (along with a Jap six speed box ) the last time it was API... so like yourself I run a 6 speed with an AP Clutch.

I have to say the around town manners are like a driving school Nissan Micra, which is what I wanted as that's what I do LOL

If I went any further I'd go for an exedy twin plate as driven by Gussy in his Spec C .......

I believe the technical spec limit on the AP Organic is about 350 lbs .. but I spoke to AP sales and to Ollie at RCM and they said that they leave a lot of 'headroom' in these specs .. which would enable 400 ish lbs to be taken .. but not 450 upwards. I was informed that above that, and Exedy Twin plate was a better option .. but I only have the AP not the Exedy so I can't really comment on what is appropriate for 500 .. its just not the AP Organic

At that level the Exedy Twin Plate is very popular and can take even more power/torque should you need it to. Initial cost isn't cheap, but it does come with a lightweight flywheel and lasts. Replacement plates are also economical to replace.

Drop me a line or give me a call if you need pricing up.
