just quicky when fitting oil pressure gauge
under altinater on oe fitting does the electric connection go back on oe after fitting new adapter ?

Does, or doesn't, your choice.
the old o/p wartning light will still work if you put it back, not if you don't.
But many people run WITHOUT the o/p switch since it's set at around 1bar at which point your engine is probably fekked anyway.
