First sighting...
...of an RS200
Out the front doing some work in the garden yesterday and a beautiful fully stickered up rally rep came past - sounded amazing when he gunned it in 2nd and 3rd. I hadn't seen one of the move before - quite an incredible sight. Just as I got back to my gardening I heard a more familiar rumble and a blue Blobeye STi came past the other way

WRX: was it the real thing, though?
A company called RSEvo did a replica a few years back used the original moulds for the shell, the suspension etc was as the real thing, but it used running gear from a Sierra RS Cossie.
They were apparently nicer to drive trhan the real thing and could be put on the road for under £18,000, with EVERYTHING.

That looks awesome (to me), but i kinda feel it will be one of those "dont meet your hero's moments" to drive. Things have moved on so much since the 80's.....would love a shot in that though, interior looks great....love it.

Yeah, it's hard to tell.
The replicas were RWD, not 4wd, but they used the same Cossie motor, exhausts etc, so SOUND and LOOK the biz.
I was all set to have one, then the wife decided on a house in France instead......... for which we are still paying for renovations, only now at €1.10 instead of €1.62 when we bought

theres a bloke that does 0-60 runs at silverstone in one, ford fair etc
