The US spec MY02, MY01 in the UK, does not come with a rear wiper. Other than getting a UK spec trunk/boot lid, is there a way to add the rear wiper to the US spec WRX? Any idea how much a UK spec boot lid would cost?

We dont get them over here either, you need a japanses spec car for that. Asked my dealer about it on saturday, and he just told me that Subaru are pretty good at listening to customer requirements, whatever that means. I was quoted around £500 when I asked a few places last year to have the same thing done to my MY00.

 

Yep, Jap spec 01 cars have them (well my STi has). It goes through a hole in the rear glass (on the 4 door) so it's not a trivial change.

At least I think it does, I'm 1600 miles from my scoob at the moment so I can't easily check.

But you mention boot lid, are you talking about a 5 door?
