Hmmmmm, the youngest UKturbo 2000's are now ten years old. Are you sure you want to take that on?
Scoob engines are unforgiving of any silliness, they can be VERY expensive to repair.
The bodywork is starting to show it's age.
Decent untouched examples are like hen's teeth.
The interiors were never class and many are now very tired at that age.
And yes, I have a 98 car and I love it, but it hasn't been standard for some time and it HAS cost me mega to get it rebuilt.

dont buy the first example you see there is a lot of BAD ones out there ( took me nearly three months to find mine )
try to get one with as much service history as possible and if there has been any mods done to the engine see if there is receipts to see what parts (good quality or sh*t) have been used and who did the work for the owner.
there are rust free scoobies out there (mine is an example as are most of the cars on here ) if you have your heart set on a classic good luck in the search ....try the classified ads on this site
