nothin to do today ,so though i would have a go at changing my intercooler on my 02 wrx ! i got an sti uk300 t/m sittin in my bedroom for ages now staring at me ! how hard can it b ? my car is a non runner at the mo , good time to muck about with things ,if i **** up then it will b put right wen its rebuilt ! i removed my old cooler easily , but because the sti is slightly larger the mounting brackets dont line up and the hose to turbo doesnt either ! do i need to get longer silicone hoses? the throttle body hose would then b too short also ! i new i stayed out the engine bay for a reason !! cheers

Just watch when you do - i changed mine on my hawkeye and it made it a bit lumpy until it was mapped. Managed to get it to fit on wrx brackets with extensions. Must get some sti ones one of these days. made a huge difference on mine.

Mine was a samco one and it was to say the least a right royal pain in the a--e to fit but 'fingers crossed' has been ok since i fitted it. Same as you it came with the inter-cooler.

Its a 2 pair of hands job to get it on well. Have fun.
