Your car is a version 10, If you want to put an STI spoiler on it you will need to redrill more holes in the boot!!

Easyist soloution is to get a bootlid and spoiler from a damaged car and swap, then if you sell at a later date you can put the standard boot and spoiler back on without all the holes.

Hi mate, Iv'e got the same car as you (MY07 WRX SL). I bought a second hand high level spoiler of a blobeye STI, and just used the existing four boot holes and some 3M tape. You might need the heavier boot springs to go with it though, but the spoiler is still solid.

Using the original 4 holes would be ideal.I'll keep that in mind.
I've also heard a guy at HT Autos does some good Scooby stuff.

Do not buy the replicas, they are twice the weight and nowhere near the quality of the original. Believe me.

That looks the biz. It's a version 8,I've been told by 2 different sources that mine is either a 9 or 10 ? Don't know which one is right and if there would be much difference to the fitting between this STI V8 and mine....07 Reg WRX

I'm pretty sure the spoiler was the same on all versions of the Newage, think the 7,8,9 refered to the model e.g. bug, blob, hawk.
