2-door Impreza?

So,
As far as I understand it, Prodrive get their hands on the 2001MY car in September and the UK version of the STi will arrive in Novemeber/December offering 260bhp.
Subaru UK has not ruled out the possibility that the next generation P1 will be based on the 2001 STi and offer a full 280bhp.
All very interesting, but what I want to know is whether or not Subaru Japan has any plans to produce a wide arch edition of the 01 car, similar to the 22B. I reckon a 2-door edition must be in the pipeline. Anyone know any different?

If I were head of Subaru marketing or sales, I'd wait a couple of years and then bring out the 2dr special. That way, you attract new buyers and existing 4dr owners.
And if anyone from Subaru reads this, I'm happy to do some consultancy work for you after my above great idea......
