Only ever come across one shade of "World Rally Blue Mica" for the bug, I've had a few bits colour coded over the years (skirts, carbon bonnet, scoop, spoiler etc) always with a perfect colour match

Wayne,

If you look around the car you should find a plate / sticker with it on it. I think the manual should tell you where to look

I had a spoiler painted a few weeks back and it came out about 4 shades lighter it was sprayed in a local pro paint shop and they showed me the paint invoice which sure enough was 02c.I dont know what happened but in the end they mixed a tint to darken it and it matched ok albeit costing me a extra £40

my thoughts exactly.. not enough coats on blue base coat. hence the lighter shade.
