doughnut question!!
appart from being a bit of a childish pursuit and that you look like a *** if people see you doing them, is there any harm to be done by doing doughnuts in the snow?

I think in the right surroundings there is nothing wrong with it,as long as your happy to use your car like that.
There would be no harm in doing it in the snow providing there are no hidden kerb's etc

There's no harm as long as you don't do it for too long because the intercooler and radiator don't get the airflow they require. Shouldn't be an issue but it's something worth considering I had a go in a car park the other night in my mates 4 wheel drive sierra

make sure you do it in a big car park. i have never done it in mine unless is a wet/snowy car park, i think in the dry its far to much strain on the shafts, diff, tires & box.
dont rev the beans off it,, they dont need it
heres me in my first scoob.

No, I've got a dark blue bug, but I usually take the diesel to work. Having to use the scoob at the moment, purely for practical reasons you understand! Work for PC Howard about 500yards from the back gate of the airfield. The harriers always used to make a hell of racket flying low overheard.
Theres also a sonic blue classic (ra I think) I see a lot that works just round the corner from us.

I agree with Davey, it's a very good way to get to know the limits of your car in the snow and how to keep it in control if you overstep those limits.
I've been playing about in snowy car parks and open fields and it's already helped to get me out of a couple of hairy real-life situations on the road which had I not had the experience from 'playing' could have ended up very nasty.
Just be aware as said that the cooling won't be there so don't do it for prolonged periods, and also be aware that if the snow's not that deep your tyres will cut through to the tarmac quite easily which can wear them very quickly.
