Default Radiator hose clip tightness

Hi all was just wondering since I changed my radiator hoses I get a small amount of coolant seeping out of the bottom hose. Im thinking that I havent tightened the clip tight enough. Was wondering how tight I should tighten it as im worried if I tighten it too much i'll go through the hose.

Thanks

What sort of clips, and did you reuse them, or buy new when you put on new hoses?

I replaced my clips with GOOD QUALITY jubilee clips when I did mine and there have been no issues.

You could try another half turn on the clip bolt?

New clips came with the hoses but they were the same as the original ones.
