Default Bonnet Scoop

My current scoop needs a respray, the pain has flaked away quite bad, and needs doing pretty much asap. However, it's got me thinking about alternatives.

What are my options that would fit perfectly?
Should I just get the respray?
A carbon fibre wrap was suggested me - worth it?

Its a 52 plate Bugeye.

Thanks for your opinions

It's one of those things that's pretty subjective i.e beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I imagine that getting the scoop sprayed will be the dearer option as opposed to wrapping. I think it's only you who can decide on the appearance of your scoop as it's going to be in your line of sight every time you drive or admire your car. Perhaps, find some pictures where people have fitted the actual carbon ones and see if that's a look you'd be happy with?
