Brake Upgrade
Hello, I'm looking into upgrading my brakes on my JDM bug WRX after xmas because they havethe worse brakes to be put on an impreza. I was thinking of going to the STI brembos but I have a nice set of 17" OZ Supers and want to keep them. I'm not to sure that there is enough clearance to fit the brembos so that kind of kills the idea of them. I'm thinking K sports or the Wilwoods as I know the Wilwoods 4 pots fit and allow for a 16" wheel, but in terms of getting the wilwoods there a Yank company and there doesn't seem to be a place in the UK that deals with them, Ive tried a few google searches and no look. Any advice would be welcome,
Cheers Kev

You can upgrade to UK 4 pots to good effect with upgraded discs / pads / fluid. What's your budget?

I have some 17" OZ, Cheers Gaz but I want something that will pull my face off when I brake hard because I'm going to do the ring next year maybe, I could really do with finding the UK supplier for Wilwood.

Yeah, Ive heard mixed reviews about that rally design as they seem to have no idea about Wilwood items, I guy I knew had some on a STI v6 , they were 6 pot wilwoods and they were awesome. Yeah if there for the right money I'll consider anything.

Kevaldo - I'm wanting to do the same mate. I've got the same problem with 17" wheels. Been told spacers might help us.
I did a bit of research and asking around about k-sport and got great reviews. They sound really good and good price for the hole set. I contacted k-sport and they emailed me a templet to see clearance etc. Worth giving them a call mate, helpful people
Cheers

I had K-Sports under the standard 04 WRX alloys for a while. They were far better than the standard ones!
If you have got the standard Subaru 4 pots then you should be able to sell them for around £150 too.

Ap 330mm kit used can be had under £1k but if you want new stick to the k-sport 330 kit I know a few people use them for the TA cars without any issues that have seen. And I am sure the sti gold brembo's fit under 17's as that's what's standard on newgae sti's and for your budget you can get front and rears to
Good luck
