Is it worth it?

Is it worth it?
Just how much different is a remapped UK STi over a standard car? I'm basing the question on the standard obviously having 265 bhp (not sure on torque??) and the remapped car towards the 330 mark, again unsure on torque.
Is it really night and day?

In general all UK cars left the factory pretty crippled, what's worse they crippled the WRX more than the STi, presumably to sell the STi LOL
remapping (with or without simple mods) really is night and day........certainly was for my bug WRX

Mine made 340 bhp, it felt like a rocketship, compared to standard. First map by Richard Bulmer on a VF 35 (std).
For 18 months or so
Then I bolted an MD321H on and then mapped by the JGM (Simon)... Now over 400 bhp and that's properly quick.

P.S. Just try and blag a ride in a 330 bhp car and see if you like it... snigger...

got my sti bug back in march this year, by april had centerpipe de-cat cosworth panel filter, fuel pump and then re-map by Race dynamics. was for sure better than standard, but not really overly impressed.
then in november got a ninja sports cat and milltek center and rear box and then 2nd re-map and jesus christ what a big big difference and for now i am more than happy :-)
