Show me your Blobeye Alloys!
Looking at getting a new set of alloys for my JDM blobeye..not interested in photos with standard wheels...
was going to go for redlines 18's with 35 profiles, as they are timeless, but deffinately interested in other options!

18's would need 40 profile on a new age STI, 35's are for classics.
I have some nice BBS for mine
optional on the JDM's but standard on the Spec C's (17 inch), though not on mine even though its a limited (those little cheeky japanese 
)
If you want some alloys, someone has some PFF 18 inch ones for sale in the for sale section so no need for the imitation redlines

PS, you have not given which model year JDM you have as the PCD changed and if we see any alloys your after then we wont be able to give you a heads up on them

I know 40's will keep the rolling radius, i was only thinking of 35s to get a nice drop and profile...
Its a 2003 so dosent have the wider track and different pcd..
ive had a look for the pf7's in the for sale section but no luck..do want to see some other possibilities before commiting to the redlines though, had a nose at the blobeye picture link in the members gallery, some nice ones but there has to be more out there than just tarmacs, redlines and the originals!

I had 18" PFF7 replicas on my 05 JDM blob. Last week ,the day before my MOT was due I found one of the PFF7,s alloys had cracked so I bought a set of these. They have a blue stripe on them which suits my car well. The wheels are RM TEAM 9123 RACINGSPORT AS-55M. The quality seems to be good as well. Steve

my trackday wheels.rota g force 18in by 8.5in wide rim,45 offset.
with toyo R888 235/40/18 tyres.
and not the best of pics but,my road wheels.bbs ch 18in by 9in wide rim,35 offset.with khumo ku31 245/35/18 tyres.

id have to disagree moley as bigarfs road wheels do like ace, im deffinately thinking more towards 35's and those bbs *i wish* Im thinking though some lowering would be needed so as Moley said, they wouldnt fill the arches...
do you get any arch rubbing running those sort of widths? My old 20v Mk2 golf ran 8.5's and even with massive arch rolling they still rubbed and speed bumps where a nightmare!

Yeah I avoid stretched tyres too, they are just for show..im deffinately thinking 35's for the sleeker look, the 40's just look to much tyre
anyone any photos of 18 x 7.5 running 35's? I know thats a tall order! how much is the speedo out when using 35's?

Ive been looking at a certain wheel, and the size is coming in at 18x8.5 ET45...running a 235x40x18 Tyre....What do you think about arch clearance/track? just right or too agressive and will rub on the archs?
