Personally would only fit a genuine Subaru belt, it just ain't worth the risk of fitting a cheaper aftermarket alternative...

why are they not avaliable as a complete kit with tensioners on them sites?.

I personally never do a timing belt without fitting a full kit, there's no point fitting a new belt to an old tensioner or idlers etc as it still stands a good chance of failing.

importcarparts. I think they do a full kit, possibly the belt separate but the rest as full kit I think. I did mine all the pulleys etc last year their prices are reasonable and it's not cheap crap.

Camskills can save you a fortune, especially on shocks which will be an inevitability however they dont seem to make Hawkeye shocks...is that because Subaru still own the licence does anyone know?
